Hinckley Island Hotel is nestled in the heart of Leicestershire. The hotel is an extremely popular conference destination. We were appointed by Amaris to redesign every aspect of the hotel including lobby, bars, conference halls, meeting rooms and all 362 guest rooms and suites.

The interior design was inspired by the hotel's locality and its connection to the weaving industry. This has been subtly referenced throughout the interior in the carpet, dividing screens and artwork. The guest room scheme features a restrained neutral backdrop, punctuated with bursts of gold delivering a warm and contemporary room for the guest to enjoy. A dramatic bespoke chandelier provides the focal point in the lobby, the adjacent Piazza Bar features striking metal screens which provide privacy whilst still allowing the guest a tantalising glimpse of the spaces beyond with their warm timber and a palette of deep reds.

The Triumph Bar has been created to offer the guest something different, a warm comfortable pub experience within the hotel. A rich colour palette and feature bookcase which divides the space provides a gallery for curated books and memorabilia related to Hinckley’s long association with Triumph motorcycles. To further bolster the hotel’s already large conference offering a new Meeting Academy has been formed. Providing additional meeting rooms, breakout area and dedicated coffee shop style F&B space. A fresh and contemporary design which inspires collaboration and creativity. Amaris now have the complete package, impressive conference facilities, smart contemporary rooms and a choice of working, dining and entertaining options which will cement Jurys Inn Hinckley Island Hotel as one of the best conference hotels in the UK.
