Hilton Garden Inn Stoke
Taking an artisanal approach, imbibing the local culture
Hilton Garden Inn
The challenge was to create a design with its own personality and sense of place as well as reflecting the Hilton Garden Inn brand prototype.
Our appointment entailed designing the interiors of the 140-bed Hilton Garden Inn — Stoke-on-Trent's first Hilton-branded hotel — as part of the Smithfield masterplan.
Working collaboratively with the client from the start, we had a clear understanding of their vision for the interior design. Our extensive knowledge of the brand allowed us to challenge the norm and create a uniquely designed interior that reflected the client’s aspirations while staying true to the HGI brand.
An exciting addition to the city of Stoke on Trent for travellers and locals alike, the hotel has been uniquely designed with a distinct sense of place to provide an authentic guest experience. The city has been shaped by the pottery industry for over 300 years. Drawing inspiration from this traditional craft our team have successfully captured this heritage and woven it through key elements of the design — carpets, colours, intricate detailing and subtle layers that can be found throughout the hotel.
Our extensive knowledge of the brand allowed us to challenge the norm and create a uniquely designed interior that reflected the client’s aspirations while staying true to the HGI brand.
We're delighted to bring this high-quality Hilton hotel to Stoke-on-Trent — the team worked relentlessly ahead of opening in difficult circumstances.
