This project in London Stratford is a branded aparthotel by Accor and provides the longer stay guest with a more residential feel, more space, more facilities, and a community atmosphere.
Ica have delivered many long stay projects including branded aparthotels such as Adagio (Accor), Staybridge (IHG), Residence Inn (Marriott), along with more boutique apartments such as Native, as well as unbranded serviced apartments.
Aparthotels along with serviced apartments and other long stay products have received more focus following the 2020 pandemic, with a shift to favour personal space along with a staycation boom. How long this focus will last only time will tell.
Aparthotels have taken longer to mature in the UK hotel market, especially when compared to the US, where there is a much stronger market. The sector is generally more expensive to develop per key, but with lower operating costs, offers a different business model to locations where this market is strong.

Stratford is fast becoming one of the UK’s most exciting and dynamic metropolitan districts, having undergone an extensive regeneration on an extraordinary scale over the last 10+ years — we are so excited to open our second London property in such a vibrant and diverse area.
