Hampton by Hilton Bristol is a 186-bedroom hotel located on an arterial road through Bristol's City Centre.

Bristol is a city renowned for its vibrant history and bursts of colour. The cityscape resembles an outdoor gallery, with coloured buildings and colourful graffiti that continually transforms its walls and buildings. The famous multi-coloured houses of Totterdown from Temple Meads station are an example of this.

In addition, one of Bristol’s most famous sons is the graffiti artist Banksy, who is internationally known for his controversial street art. His work is highly sought after and some pieces have been bought by Hollywood celebrities, some for hundreds of thousands of pounds.

In the early 1960’s Don Cameron came to Bristol and produced the first modern hot air Balloon in western Europe. It was in a pub in 1978 with his fellow members of the Bristol Junior Chamber that the idea of the Fiesta was born. These bursts of colour emerge into the sky every year with last year's numbers reaching over 100 balloons. The event is now in its 36th year running and is Europe’s largest ballooning event.

The vibrant colours seen in the hot air balloon festival and the structural lines of the famous Clifton Suspension Bridge have provided plenty of design inspiration for this new hotel.
