Planning approval for a luxury Caribbean Resort in Turks & Caicos

Nick Roberts

Exciting plans for a luxury Caribbean resort have been approved

Located in Grace Bay, Turks & Caicos, the idyllic site features 550 feet of pristine sandy beach with crystal clear waters and protected dune vegetation.

A contemporary take on traditional Caribbean architecture, the resort evokes 'cabana aesthetics' of straw-thatched roofs and timber beams. The approval sees the creation of 207 guestrooms, all with ocean-facing views, as well as several bars and restaurants, two pools, a spa and a wellness centre.

Set to start on-site later this year, the project will use an off-site construction methodology. A bespoke bedroom, with interior design also by Ica, will be constructed in a factory setting before being shipped to the site.
